Park Perks

Hope everyone had a great week!

The air feels more autumnal in London lately, but I can't complain. We had a stellar summer -- for the first time in years! With such good weather, the parks around us became our second home. And now that Baby TR is crawling (and into everything), we need the space to let him loose.

Early morning in Holland Park.

The Orangery and roses in Holland Park.

Baby TR contemplates his next move on the chess board.

In between park jaunts, The No-Kids Club is coming along! I'm now on Draft 4 and it's getting there. Slowly.

Swans on a rainy morning in Kensington Gardens.

Baby TR dips his toes in the Diana Memorial in Kensington Gardens.

I'm sad to see Summer go, but autumn in London is wonderful, too.

Have a lovely week, everyone!

  10. Awww, that makes me a bit homesick. I often get an autumnal trip home but it won't happen this year because I had a late spring visit. Boo hoo.

Thanks for posting the pictures. It's lovely to see London looking polished and shiny.

  20. Hi Talli - he does look a little daunted at the water ... but amazing he's playing chess already!

I too hope we have a lovely autumn - but we need the rain ..it was/is very dry in Sussex .. though I'm down in Somerset, and will be in Cornwall later on today ... it'd be nice if the sun came out!

Cheers and good luck with the draft of The No-Kids Club - Hilary

  25. Baby TR is certainly a cutie, like his mom! I am usually sad to see summer pass, but not in the desert here in Arizona. Temperatures remain brutal in the 113 degree range.
