Back Off, Mr Hero!

Monday! Wheeeee! We got a new espresso machine this weekend. Can you tell? Today, I'm over at Nas Dean's, talking about why I love strong heroines. And giving away books! Pop over if you get the chance.

Hope everyone had a great weekend. There's lots of exciting things happening this week. Wednesday is the paperback launch of Watching Willow Watts, and I'll be drawing the winner of the Facebook contest as well as holding a giveaway of a few other books and such.

This weekend, both Kim the Bookworm and the wonderful Deniz Bevan reviewed Build A Man. Many thanks to you both! And on Saturday, I was over at Victoria Lagnehag's, talking about plotting. Phew! How's that for some linkage?

A final one before I go: Wendy Ewurum has just opened Fabulosity Galore, an online bookstore. Head over and see what she's got!

Now I'm going to go have some more ESPRESSO! Tell me, what gets you going on an Monday morning?

  7. My you've been busy!

Feeling especially sluggish today -- coming off a 4 day weekend and now it's back to the grind. Maybe coffee would help but I've never been much of a fan...

  31. My husband had some minor outpatient surgery today, however he is working the whole patient on the couch thing in a major way. Not a lot happening here besides me being at his beck and call. I don't really mind and I did get my coffee this morning and thanks to the surgery he did not. Good luck with your paperback launch!

  35. My Monday started with me sneaking back to bed after I took my daughter to school. (hangs head in shame) When I got up I had a couple cups of pressed coffee and then took on the unpacking, cleaning, and washing from our Thanksgiving trip.

Congratulations on Watching Willows paper launch. :D

  40. I had to take my cat to the vet which slowed Monday up rather a lot - chaos in the surgery!

  41. I love my espresso machine too. Dangerous things...

    Off to Nas's blog!

  42. Oooh - I want some of that espresso! It sounds like you really need it with everything you've got going on!

  43. What got me going yesterday morning was knowing that I'm less than two weeks away from the END OF THE SCHOOL YEAR! YAY!

  44. I'm one of those terribly cheerful morning people that everyone in my family would rather not see in the mornings, especially Monday mornings. I sing. I laugh. I get up with the sun and have most of my email done by seven when they might strangle past my office door.

Of course, by six I'm a bit saggy, but it's getting dark and, in my book, it's time to sag.

Guess my answer to your question is, "The sun gets me going."

    ReplyDelete
  45. Oh wow a new espresso machine, seething with jealousy now. I love my coffee too.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Wheee!! Indeed! Love it! Coffee always gets me going--no matter what day it is. :)
