Back to the Desk!

Oh, it's good to be home. After spending last week battling the foggy effects of jet-lag (and I highly recommend NOT undertaking trans-Atlantic flights while six months' pregnant -- ugh!), I was eager to get back to work. A creature of routine, I love my wake-up coffee, burnt toast breaks, and Twitter check-ins . . . not to mention the growing pile of virtual paper on my desk.

It's going to be a busy autumn, but I like being busy! I've got the Festival of Romance to attend mid-November . . .

The Pollyanna Plan to get out by the end of that month . . .

And a Christmas novella to complete

Lots of writing ahead. Fingers crossed that Baby TR does not make an unexpected early appearance, please!

What's on your plate for the next few months?

  1. I have been looking forward to The Pollyanna Plan, I can't wait to read it! :D

I hope Baby TR stays in there a bit longer!

Busy times for me, too! I've got a bloghop on Monday to promote my new novella, I have to get everything ready for my blog tour for the second book in the Game On series next month, plus I'm working on a small Christmas project. And it's my birthday next week.

Also, somewhere in amongst all that, I have to do some actual work that pays LOL!

  34. Gotta say Talli, your covers are always drop dead gorgeous! I don't think they've found a way to keep babies in when they decide to come, so best to get as far ahead as you can, as you will have already been warned, having a baby sorta changes your routine lol! I hope you finish all the projects before the little delight arrives.
Me? I'm gearing up for NaNo and have a new novel outlined (and 3 more to finish!) and getting ready to read Halloween stories for RomanticFridayWriters this Friday. The writing fun never stops.

  43. Talli- that's quite a bit going on for you. I'll send fairies to keep baby TR Busy. :)

On my plate- I will be editing two new authors for WiDo publishing. Doing revisions on book 1 of my series and I'm using NaNoWriMo to start book two. :)

  44. I don't know how you do it all,I have spent all day trying to cut 528 words from a story to enter it in a competion ,I have never done that before as I just write what I like. I take my hat off to you doing it all the time. Have some rest before baby comes.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Not as much as you Talli! You have so much in the pipeline and a new baby to boot!!! (forgive the pun) I'm trying to get the first draft of my newest book down as quickly as possible... I have given myself a deadline of end of November... Not sure if that's realistic or not considering I am only quarter way through it. Oh well, onwards and upwards.

  46. I'm sure that you will accomplish all of your goals before Little TR arrives! You are a real life Super Woman!
