Last April, Arlee Bird set up a fantastic blogfest: blogging Monday to Saturday, using a letter of the alphabet.
And the good news? He's doing it this year, too! This time, Alex J Cavanaugh, Jen Daiker and I are all helping out, as well.
It's simple. There are 26 letters in the alphabet. There are 26 days in April (if you take out Sundays). You would blog Monday - Saturday writing a blogpost with the appropriate letter for that day. April 1 - A, April 2 - B, etc.
So... join in the fun, click the link and grab a badge because April is going to be fantastic. I'll even throw in a cupcake and a glass of wine!
Yay!!! I'm so excited to be apart of this challenge! And your first commentor! That like never happens!
ReplyDeleteI'm a roll today!
I'll do this in my other, "daily" blog, cos Amlokiblogs is already running on a schedule! Thanks for introducing this to me :)
ReplyDeleteDid you really just ask me to schedule something in April? There's still like 18 feet of snow! I can't think about April!! In all seriousness, sounds fantastic...again. I will probably do it. Of course, I'll need constant reminders and badges in my face because you know, it's January. ;P
ReplyDeleteI did this last year and had a blast, so I'm up for it again. Since it doesn't start until April I have plenty of time to play and get letters scheduled!
ReplyDeleteFun! I missed out on this blogfest last year, and I'm excited to participate this time around.
ReplyDeleteAnd speaking of blogfests, I announced a fun, easy, quickie blogfest of my own for Feb 16. Swing by and check it out, maybe sign up. :))
See ya there!
Cool, sounds fun!
ReplyDeleteSo clever!
ReplyDeleteSigned up. Gonna do my own personal alliteration challenge again too :o)
ReplyDeleteIt was great last year, made lots of new friends.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to it.
Yvonne.
I look forward to reading your posts.
ReplyDeleteGood luck to all those doing this! I enjoyed following the blogs I follow who participated last year and it was such fun!!
ReplyDeleteIt's not for me - but I do like lurking! LOL! take care

Talli, we're rollin' and rockin' and out of the starting gates. Great way to kick things off. I'm really looking forward to this collaboration among you, Alex, Jen, and I and however many hundreds of others join the Challenge.
ReplyDeleteNow pass me a cupcake, but let me hold off on the wine for a few hours--it's still early here.

Tossing It Out
Oh my! This is certainly a challenge for moir, I usually to 3 x weekly -however, I shall rise to it ladies and gents hosting! ;)
ReplyDeleteoh man oh man - nah! But I'll watch you all doing it. I'm playing my own weird blogging game today - it's called Blogging Bingo. I go to all my regular stops, make a comment then go to your blog roll - go down five and visit that site, join and comment. I'm having fun so far. Do join in...or not!
ReplyDeleteA is for Amazing Alphabet blogs in April :)
ReplyDeleteThis will be fun. At least it gives me time to find something for x,y and z.
ReplyDeleteLet me get this right, this would require daily posts on our blog? You guys are amazing.
ReplyDeleteMy blog only pubs 3x a week and Mondays are my personal blog day. The other two days I feature authors.
Maybe on the Mondays I can do something that corresponds to the letter of the alphabet for that day and week. Perhaps I can do something with the authors scheduled. I'll have to think about this.
Ooh... I loved doing this last year! But I honestly don't know if I can swing it with everything I have going on...
ReplyDelete*ponders*
Sounds fun, just don't let me forget!!!!
ReplyDeleteSound like a blast.... April is my favorite month....
ReplyDeleteI just so happens to be my birth month ... love the aries' and taurus'!
Well, actually I love all the signs. Each have their own unique quality.

Sounds like fun. Looking forward to it. I think I'll plan a theme.
ReplyDeleteNo No 26 times NO....
ReplyDeletewell, maybe!
I'll take some wine, Talli! This is going to be awesome. We had so much fun last year.
ReplyDeleteSounds fun, tho I think I'll pass, since I only post on Wednesdays--and I'm busy writing and critiquing, whew! It's a very innovative idea thoug.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I don't know if I can blog 6 days a week... but what a fun idea! I'll have to mull it over :)
ReplyDeleteGreat idea for a blog fest. I can't wait to read everyones posts!
ReplyDeleteWow - certainly a challenge. But, count me in! Can I get sprinkles on my cupcake? :)
ReplyDeleteWell who could turn their back on a cupcake and glass of wine! I ask you.
ReplyDeleteOoh, April is still a ways off, but hopefully I'll be able to take part. I'll start thinking of ideas now. lol.
ReplyDeleteargh! You kids are killin me w/these blogfests. I signed up for Nicole's, and now this one sounds easier... sigh. maybe~
ReplyDeleteI would sign up but then I'd mess it up by either forgetting altogether, or forgetting to start with a letter, or I'd have a guest blogger who wouldn't want to start with X or whatever letter...I will come visit other blogs though. It's a great idea.
ReplyDeleteSounds like fun! I'm up for the challenge! :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like a cool challenge and I look forward to checking them out but I think I'll pass. I'm not consistent enough to do a month long challenge.
ReplyDeleteSuch a great idea (I remember the tail end of last years) but I just can't blog every day! I look forward to reading lots of fun posts though!
ReplyDeleteWow, sounds like a great idea! How are you going to get the wine over here though?!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds really awesome. I want to be apart of it but it's also the time of exams for me. I'll need to think about it!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to the blogfest, it was great last year, brought many people together, Good luck, hope you meet your target,
ReplyDeleteYvonne.
This sounds like so much fun. I'm excited to join!
ReplyDeleteWow, no stress there. A blog a day. Hum...I have trouble finding time to blog three times a week. I'll have to think about this one. Thanks for the post.
ReplyDeleteWow that looks like a bit too uch commitment for me :0 Btw i think i@m doing quite well at my self-imposed read a book a week and review it challange (even tho it's ony Jan lol)I've always been a big reader and was falling down the slippery slope of browsing the internet rather than reading actual books..which i didnt want to become...do you read a lot of books being a writer yourself?
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely in..can't miss out on the cupcake! ;)
ReplyDeleteYou had me at "and then I have wine." As a self-professing wineaux, I feel we will get along just fine! I found you through Rayna at Coffee Rings and am joining the fun this year! Now I'm off to buy your book for my kindle! Congrats on your first novel. The reviews in the sidebar must just thrill you! It's my dream to be there one day. Meanwhile I practice. At my blog Life is Good. Come on over if you have a chance.
ReplyDeleteHi, popped over from "Tossing it Out", I thought I say hello, great to meet you! Looking forward to taking part in the challenge next month.
