Happy Friday! It's a long weekend here and set to rain the whole freakin' time (and no, I'm not complaining. In writing, anyway). Today I'm over at
Bah to Cancer's blog talking about tramp(olining) therapy. Might sound strange but it's loads of fun! Head over to see how bouncing around put a spring back in my step.
Oh, I embrace my inner tramp, alright. ;)
ReplyDeleteI'll go check it out. I love jumping on trampolines.
Happy long weekend!
Love,
Lola
I shall head over there now! (Sorry about the rain but it is England we're talking about)
ReplyDeleteOh I'm all disappointed now! I thought it'll be more about watching people rummage through rubbish outside your window but alas and alack!
ReplyDeleteBut seriously!! Great link, thank you, and fab guest post!!!
A great big awwwwwwwwwww!!! Well done you for surviving in such a fab and unconventional way!
I'm just happy that things have turned out absolutely lovely for you now. Yay!
And the cat too! right?? :-)
Take care
x
Stay out of the rain this weekend, Talli!
ReplyDeleteColonial sympathies abound...it's raining in Virginia, Elizabeth I's namesake.
ReplyDeleteThank guys... I will stay out of the rain! I'll probably venture out only on Sunday, when it's supposed to stop briefly!
ReplyDeleteOld Kitty - Sadly that cat passed away and I haven't had one since... :(
lol! Love my inner tramp! ;o) Will head over there!
ReplyDeleteBTW I have you a lil some'n over on my blog plus a bonus contest at the end of the post..... ;o)

Excellent guest blog post. And you're absolutely correct - it's impossible to be unhappy on a trampoline. Hrm...may I should get one of those little ones.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds WAY fun!
ReplyDeleteFound you at the Southern Princess. :)
I love tramoplines!! I will definitely check that out! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteA bit of trampolining sounds like great de-stress therapy. As does embracing your inner tramp. I must try these things.
ReplyDeleteNothing like a trampoline to bring out the inner kid.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend (despite the rain)!
Been there, read that - love the way you write. x
ReplyDeleteThere's a long weekend in the UK this week too?
ReplyDeleteWhat do they call the holiday?
Today's guest blogger is THE Elana Johnson!
Havent' been a tramp in years. It was fun when I was!

Would it be terrible to say I've never tramped before?
ReplyDeleteOooh, I'll head off their right now. :)
ReplyDeletehave a great weekend :-D
ReplyDeleteWe have a trampoline in the garden and I've been on it a few times!! However, talking of tramps, I'm often one of them.
ReplyDeleteCJ xx
Hehe! Crystal - with a Farmer like yours there's probably no need to tramp!
ReplyDeleteMatthew - It's called 'Bank Holiday weekend.' Original - not.
Thanks everyone for all the comments!
I'll go check it out...could use the exercise.
ReplyDeleteCD
how awesome!! but sounds like you're going to have one heck of a weekend, huh? hehe i hope you get some writing in!
ReplyDeleteheading over to the link right now :D
Hahaha. I think I may also write Trampantasy.
ReplyDeleteI'm tromping over to the tramp link!
ReplyDeleteYou know ANYONE calling herself a Tart is ALL OVER this...
ReplyDelete*winks*
*considers the prudishness of a wink*
*flashes*
see you over there!
It's so much fun & great exercise! Have fun bouncing around & do some flips! :)
ReplyDeleteInteresting, will head over there now :) Trampolining actually sort of scares me (I know, i'm such an oddball) but that doesn't mean I won't read and think it over :D
ReplyDelete*hugs* Have a great weekend anyway
I haven't been on a tramp for soooo long.
ReplyDeleteI guess I must have turned boring and middle-aged.
Have fun, and enjoy the long weekend.
I've never been on a trampoline -- but that's probably best. I'm a bit clumsy, and balance-challenged as well. I'm probably better off pedaling as fast as I can on an Exercycle (the kind with a bucket seat for comfort and stability). :)
ReplyDeleteBlah, it's raining here, too. This morning the sun peeked out long enough for us to get some solar therapy. Maybe we need a trampoline.
ReplyDeleteOkay - after a long, hot week, that sounds like a lot of fun!! :)
ReplyDeleteAnything who uses the word tramp is A-okay in my book!! Hehe it also makes me want to figure out why so I'm headed over to the action!
ReplyDeleteJust had a trampolining experience with a bunch of friends. We were all laughing like maniacs. It was wonderful- just like when we were kids (except there may have been wine involved.)
ReplyDeleteI'll have to check it out - I used to do trampoline training as part of being a diver on my college's swim team (easier to get some of these physical contortions down when you're belted to a suspension system than when your body will slam into the unforgiving water after a wrong move). I heart trampolines! Trampoline therapy sounds fun.
ReplyDeleteLoved it! It's such a lightening thing to do, and I love how you were able to weave the before and after of your life in with the new adventure.
ReplyDeleteAlthough, I totally thought you were going someone naughty with it. Of course, haha.
