Today's a great day for me since I've just had my first official interview as a fiction writer!
The wonderful Jen at Unedited has just posted it, so scoot over if you like to read how I feel about dragons, why I hate TheBrady Bunch and where I like to write!
I really enjoyed the interview and can't believe your writing day - up at 7 am, pub critiquing group (How you manage to read out loud in a pub??!?!?!?? And without BEER - oh ok maybe you had a glass of wine or two..I hope!). Bed by 11 pm. Blimey! I am most impressed!
What a brilliant interview. As I said on the other blog, I really admire you for not giving up after those early book failures. You're truly an inspiration. Oh yes, and I didn't realise you and Marsha were so close!!
Great interview! It was interesting to read about your life, especially the part where you described going to a pub with your writing group; that sounds like the perfect night out to me because it's a combination of good food, good friends, and good writing!
Talli, Really enjoyed reading your interview & learning more about your upcoming book. It's also important for new writers to read your interview so they don't get discouraged when the rejections arrive.
OK, I have a question for you -- what is your favorite brand of chocolate?
It was great fun to read your interview and I am green with envy that you get to stay home and write everyday. The grass is always greener on the other side, huh? But seriously I know how hard it IS to stay home and write everyday!!!
I missed the part about how you feel about dragons?
Such a fantastic interview. I had to laugh about your name. My partner and I had been discussing it. I said to him what a great name Talli Roland is and he wondered what Talli was short for. We both agreed on Natalie!! Now I will have to tell him that your name is Marsha. hehe
Talli, I just saw on Jen's blog post today that you love Lindt chocolate. It's the best chocolate ever! The milk chocolate truffles are my favorite. There's a Lindt store in the outlets near where I live. I might just have to pay them a visit this weekend now!
I just read the interview and it was great! I loved reading it!
Also, it's worth telling you that the very first time I came across your blog and saw your name, my thought was: "What a cool name. You never hear the name 'Talli'! She's so lucky to have such an awesome name." I'm not kidding--I actually had that very conversation with myself! :)
I just read it! Fantastic! I asked you a question in the comments. Would love to get your answer! xx ;)
