I'm glad I did. The trailer is amazing -- very professionally done, and it certainly accomplishes its goal of making you want to know more! It has some great London scenes and reminded me of a sort of updated Bridget Jones. I can't wait to dive into the book later on today!
If you're not in the UK, you can order the book from Karen Jones Gowen's new favourite site (hehe!) , The Book Depository.
(Note: If you're having streaming issues, it's probably best to turn off the HD.)
Wow. I'm adding this to my TBR list!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Talk about sitting here totally into the screen. Yes, a bit of Bridget Jones. But not enough to lose the viewer (for I loved BJ and comparisons couldn't continue)... and talk about dialogue to die for...gotta get this book (that will be turned into a move!)
ReplyDeleteooooh Jess/Jez - we like him!!
ReplyDeleteI would nitpick about the cab being there all available. LOL!!

Take care

Thoughts in Progress
Sounds like a great story -- it'll be fun cheering the heroine on!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great weekend!
Great trailer, I like the idea of giving a movie feel to the story, setting the reader up for the book. It works!
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome trailer. Wow!
ReplyDeleteOoh, great trailer! I love how the girl kept a running internal dialogue the whole time; it was hilarious!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe how wonderful these book trailers are. Superb.

ReplyDeleteThat is quite the book trailer!
ReplyDeleteWow! That book trailer looks like a professional trailer for a movie! That was awesome! :)
ReplyDeleteWhoa, too funny! I laughed out loud several times! And it's reminded me how much I want to visit London!
ReplyDeleteIs it just me, or did that one shot of the actress look a little like Kate Hudson with the wind blowing in her hair?
And I've never heard of book trailers until now. Is this common on the other side of the Atlantic?
I'm having streaming issues, too, but I think it's just drinking too much tea that's the problem.
ReplyDeleteOh wow, that's an AMAZING book trailer. I'm amazed.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I was hoping Amazon.uk would have an excerpt of The Hating Game, but I guess not. The story sounds so very funny! Ever since reading In Her Shoes by Jennifer Weiner, I've enjoyed chick lit.
ReplyDeleteLooks fab. Another one to add to my TBR list. :)
ReplyDeleteSuch a well-made trailer! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI've heard about these book trailers, but this is the first one I've seen. Good idea. Are you going to do one?
ReplyDeleteVery good idea these trailers - will look forward to reading the book.
ReplyDeleteWow what a great book trailer! I didn't know you had an eReader. Was it had to adjust to?
ReplyDeleteLooks like a really fun read! I'll be watching out for this one. And, yeah, I want to know what happens next! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI'm intimidated by the thought of creating a book trailer. Do you plan on making one for your book?
