Something for Saturday

It's yet another gorgeous day here in London (I can scarcely believe this weather!), reminding me of a beautiful weekend I spent in the Cotwolds around this time a few years ago.

Happy Saturday!

  5. Oh wow! I've been there! I think I have the exact same photo as your second one, except it was covered in snow. Is the place called Bibery?

  21. Thanks for this looksee. Yes, it does look like the shire. My mother was from London but so far I haven't crossed the Atlantic to see her country. One day! It's grim and dreary here, more like usual English weather - so these were a lovely break.
Have you written any stories in these gorgeous places? they make the mind ramble.

  22. So, so beautiful. I feel so sad looking at them, though. That last one reminds me so much of the Peak District where I lived.

By the way, I forgot to tell you. I tagged you in my last post ;)

  28. We used to holiday in the Cotswolds a lot with our kids, and they used to call the tops of those walls 'toast racks'. We knew we'd got to the Cotswolds when someone shouted out 'Toast racks! Toast racks!'

  36. The second photo is definitely Bilbury.
I love the Cotswolds, my Grandmother used to live in Broadway when I was a young 'un. So every time I've been to England I have gone back to the area.
