I love these photos. Someday...I'm sure you've heard it, I'd love to travel England and Scotland.
Oh my goodness. Beautiful. I can't believe I didn't get to London in all the years I lived in Europe. Bad me!
Gorgeous, Talli, we got to some of these lovely places in our London years, love your Something for Saturday pics, sun shining here in Ireland, shocking !!
That village is gooooooorgeous! And I thought the Lake District was quaint. Never been to the Cotswolds but love to now.Milt x
Oh wow! I've been there! I think I have the exact same photo as your second one, except it was covered in snow. Is the place called Bibery?
Glad you're enjoying the photos everyone! It was SO lovely there - these are taken around Chipping Campden, Broadway and Snowshill. Gorgeous. AA - Or maybe Bibury, too? I actually can't remember...Brigid - Enjoy the Irish sun while you can! :)
Thanks for the photos, Talli. I've visted England several times and the scenery is breathtaking.
Oh my gosh! It looks like a fairy tale! Beautiful. It kind of reminds me of that movie The Holiday. :)
Those are gorgeous pictures! They almost look like the Shire.
Beautiful photos - enough to make me get off my writer's arse and get out into the sunshine!
What gorgeous photos. Make me wish I was there. :) Maybe someday.
Thanks for the Saturday journey, just gorgeous.
That is so very pretty. Wouldn't it be amazing to live there? Looks like you had a perfect day to take the pictures. Stunning.
Can I just step into that picture please?
Gorgeous! Makes me want to go away for the weekend.
Awwww the Cotswolds..went there years ago with the ex and had a thoroughly wonderful time!!! except that we got caught in the hunting season WHILST walking and had to literally run for our lives! very funny.. but it is absolutely beautiful there - lovely, lovely, lovely.take carex
Okay I am like so jealous... this place looks beautiful and the weather gorgeous!!! I need to find houses like that around Houston... not worht looking I know they don't exist :(
It's raining cats and dogs here today. Perfect writing weather!!! :)
What great photos and such wonderful weather. We're having thunderstorms and tornado warnings here. :(Hope your day goes well.MasonThoughts in Progress
It's beautiful where I am too! But stunning scenery in your picts!
Thanks for this looksee. Yes, it does look like the shire. My mother was from London but so far I haven't crossed the Atlantic to see her country. One day! It's grim and dreary here, more like usual English weather - so these were a lovely break. Have you written any stories in these gorgeous places? they make the mind ramble.
So, so beautiful. I feel so sad looking at them, though. That last one reminds me so much of the Peak District where I lived.By the way, I forgot to tell you. I tagged you in my last post ;)
Gorgeous! So different from my part of the world :)
I'm sitting at work in my campus library in a small town in Arkansas in the US where the weather is torn between storming and sunny. I don't know that I've ever been more jealous. Gorgeous pictures!
Great pictures. I've been enjoying the sun today too:)
Lovely pics - happy Saturday to you too!
We used to holiday in the Cotswolds a lot with our kids, and they used to call the tops of those walls 'toast racks'. We knew we'd got to the Cotswolds when someone shouted out 'Toast racks! Toast racks!'
I lived in that excact feild!! I used to swing from that sign after a few shots of whiskey. OH the good ol' days!!Just kidding. Great pics!
That's my neck of the woods!! Lovely pictures :-)C x
Beautiful! I can't wait to come visit England... ONE DAY!! I swear I'll make it! :DThanks for sharing!
Someone said to me yesterday, "Well, you're lucky because you got married in London," which is strange because I have never been to London. But, how gorgeous! I should have.
I'm going to follow everyone else and say thank you for posting such spectacular pictures. Gorgeous way to start a dreary day.
Today in PA it started out beautiful, but now it's late afternoon and the clouds are rolling in. Booo! I think we're getting London's rain, haha!Amazing pictures. I wish I was there right now!
Gorgeous pictures! Love the second one in particular!
The second photo is definitely Bilbury.I love the Cotswolds, my Grandmother used to live in Broadway when I was a young 'un. So every time I've been to England I have gone back to the area.
You have convinced me to get there someday. What a beautiful pastoral setting.
What a bucolic place! :)
Beautiful pictures! I'd love to visit there some day. I have such a long travel list. Greece, England, France, Scotland... Netherlands. ::Sighs:: Some day.
Beautiful photos, Talli! My son is flying to London tomorrow - hope the weather stays nice!
Wow! How beautiful. Those look like they belong in a book of fairytales!
Sigh. Your photos bring back such lovely memories of my study abroad experience in Cheltenham. I've also been to Bibury, the little village in the second photo, though it was January and not so green and sunny.
Talli--You're making me homesick...I haven't been home since last September. Thanks for stopping by my blog and entering my contest. :)
Oh, this looks lovely! I must visit Cotswolds when I move to the UK next year:)
GORGEOUS pictures! Thanks for sharing--someday I hope to see them in person...
Those pictures are torturous. I want to be there so bad!! Soon, soon.
Coffee and wine for all!
