I'm No JA Konrath, But...

What hasn't heard of JA Konrath? The man on an e-book mission, whose Kindle novels are finally enabling him to sit back and relax a bit, as the money flows in (insert sigh and jealous twinge here)? Well, Draculas -- a novel by JA and three other writers -- has now hit the Amazon Kindle Paid Top 100, not to mention getting 105 reviews in a short time. With no major print house behind them, that's quite a feat.

I'm not sure I can hit those lofty heights. But it just goes to show it can be done! I've now got over 400 people signed up to my Take On Amazon Web Splash, and I'm amazed at all the support people have shown me. With still a month to go, I'm hoping to make it to 500 (my original goal of 1000 might have been a touch unrealistic).

Now, on to my September competition -- the competition that's dragged on way too long!

And the winners are:

SANGU!
JOANNA ST JAMES!
CAROL KILGORE!
SUMMER ROSS!
NOTES FROM NADIR!

You can choose one of the following:

1. A query critique.
2. An line edit of 30 pages of your manuscript. Pick any 30 pages!
3. A copy of 24 Hours Paris, my Paris tour guide.
4. A copy of 24 Hours London, my London tour guide.
5. Lucky dip! Take your chances with this one!

Just let me know what you'd like in the comments here, or email me at talliroland AT gmail.com.

Thank you, everyone, for following, commenting and being SO supportive!

  7. Congrats to the winners :D Good luck getting the numbers ready for the release date too :D

I've been wary of the Kindle for a while, but I think it's time I face facts and delve into the abyss that is ePublishing. As much as I love print books, I lack the money and the space to keep buying them.

  17. This has got to be my lucky week. Have you thought of emailing Konrath to see what he can do to help, it would not hurt to ask, might be downright cheeky but u've really got nothing to loose :).
If its still available and not too expensive to post can I have the Paris guide I am going to Paris in the spring and it would come in handy, if not then the 30 pages crit would be awesome.
Thank you and congratulations to all the other winners

Sorry this is a day late, it's been one of those weeks!
