What's Going On

Phew! I'm home, everyone. Back safe and sound in frozen, snow-strewn London -- quite a change from the sun and dust of Cairo. But oh, it's so good to be home. After almost a month of travel and vacation, I finally feel like my new work-year is beginning.

So what am I up to these days? Well, I'm a third of the way through writing Construct A Couple, the sequel to Build A Man, which I hope to have out in May if everything goes according to plan! Also, Build A Man has a new-look cover now...

...and my novella, Miracle at the Museum of Broken Hearts, has a new cover, too!

Even better,  it will be free on Amazon this Friday and Saturday. Make sure to grab it if you're looking for something to read on the weekend!

Apart from covers, I've been preparing for workshops. I'll be giving one on character-building this Wednesday at King's College London, then another on marketing and promotion for the London chapter of the Romantic Novelists' Association in March. And I'm beyond thrilled that I've been asked to give a workshop on all things related to self-publishing at the York Festival in September. Busy times are ahead, and I love it!

And that's what's going on for me. What about you? Catch me up!

  2. Those are such great covers. I haven't been to the library that I used to work at as of late, but I'm dying to see if they have your books on the shelves. If not, they should. It makes me itch to work there again.

  4. Love the new covers -- gor-ge-ous. And that pic of the white building in BUILD A MAN looks sooo familiar.

As for me, I'm actually releasing a new novella this week sometime. And then THE DUKE'S DIVORCE hopefully by Valentine's day.

Have got to stay off the blogs in order to do it though.

Glad you're home safe and sound.

Good luck with your books, mine went reasonably well at first now deadlock.
Will have to wait until after my vacation (I go to the US on the 15th) then get stuck in promoting again.
    Take care.

  10. Awesome new covers. I love your brand! Congrats on the workshops! As for me, I have a wedding fair coming up in March - I will have a booth for my photography business. I am continuing to look for ways to make money with my photography so I can keep writing and not have to go back to corporate life. :-)

  61. Great covers! I like both of them. I wish I could access your novella when it's free this weekend, but I don't have a Kindle, darn it. I wish I could get one but thieves around here love Kindles, iPads, and cell phones; sometimes, they don't even bother stealing the wallets. They just demand the electronic devices. But when I'm rich I'll get my own Kindle AND a bodyguard to protect me from those greedy thieves.

  62. Sounds like you have tons going on, Talli. Well done! I finished Build a Man ages ago, just haven't written it up yet. This reminds me I'm waaaay behind on all sorts of stuff. I'll try and remember to grab the Miracle on the weekend. Have a great day!
