Par-tay!

After a lovely night last night -- drinks at a funky lounge bar then a fantastic dinner at Somerset House (steak! Bearnaise sauce! chips! sticky toffee pudding!) -- tonight I'm off to the Romantic Novelists' Association Summer Party. What can I say, it's a tough life, but someone's gotta do it. Anyway, it will be good to get out my of rubbish Primark threads for an epic two nights in a row!

I've been to a few RNA events over the past year, and I've always had a great time. Everyone is so friendly and lovely, and I love meeting online friends.

I'll have an extra drink/ canape/ spin around the floor for you all!

  3. Ok, that's 2 mentions of sticky toffee pudding. We've a new pub in town (USA), run by a chap from Liverpool, featuring that particular item. Next time I go in, I'm going to order it. Have a great time! Looking forward to a full report (and pics? please).

  21. Have fun Talli! :) Dance the day/night away and party your little heart out. I am quite jealous--I'm at home and the town I live in is rather boring. Why don't I just hop in my car and crash the party you're going to? :P Haha just kidding!

  23. Oh, how fun Talli! I love attending conferences and dressing up. It's fun to meet so many fellow authors you've met online or read. A lot of goodies to learn, too.

I have a question for you. I'm reading a good book by a English author. Primark? A store? Department store? Like Wal-Mart or something? And a tosser? Her boyfriend was a tosser. I'm thinking I could use the word *Loser*, Jerk, piece of garbage or crap, in it's place?

Looking forward to hearing all about your conference!

  31. Thanks. I like to live vicariously these days. Something funny..... A blogger was saying they lived close to a garlic factory. I was thinking, who else do I know who lives by a garlic factory. It's from your book, of course. Ha ha.
