Tale of a Tree... and Squee!

Yesterday we tramped out in the woods to get our Christmas tree. It was a wonderful day!

The woods.

The search begins.

The perfect tree.

The saw comes out.

The tree is felled.

Taking home the tree.

And there you have it! The tale of a tree. And now on to the squee!

Two of my novels, Build A Man and Watching Willow Watts, have been long-listed for Trashionista's book of the year. It would be fab if you could pop over and vote! No registration or anything needed - just click the book and hit the button. Thank you, thank you. Virtual rum and eggnog for all!

Have a great week!

Hi Hilary - yes, I've been put to work. Hopefully that will offset some of the mince pie eating and eggnog drinking that's been taking place. :) Thanks so much for voting.

  10. Your fab photos so reminded me of our trips into the woods opposite our cottage to get a Chrismas tree when the kids were younger. Now we have to go out to buy one because the trees have grown bigger than the house!

Happy Christmas to you and your family, Talli xx

  42. Oh, happy memories!! We used to go chop down our tree the old-fashioned way too! Not sure there are any places where we can do that where we live now, though. It's so fun to choose your own, and saw it yourself. :) And congrats on your book news! (YUM, eggnog!)

  43. Wow! I've never gone into the woods to get a xmas tree. We've always used the same plastic tree every year. ONe of these days, I definitely have to try using an actual tree. :)

    Have the Happiest of Holidays!
