Hope everyone had a great weekend. There's lots of exciting things happening this week. Wednesday is the paperback launch of Watching Willow Watts, and I'll be drawing the winner of the Facebook contest as well as holding a giveaway of a few other books and such.
This weekend, both Kim the Bookworm and the wonderful Deniz Bevan reviewed Build A Man. Many thanks to you both! And on Saturday, I was over at Victoria Lagnehag's, talking about plotting. Phew! How's that for some linkage?
A final one before I go: Wendy Ewurum has just opened Fabulosity Galore, an online bookstore. Head over and see what she's got!
Now I'm going to go have some more ESPRESSO! Tell me, what gets you going on an Monday morning?
Hate Mondays!! Never get going properly - generally takes me til Tuesday! Good luck with 'Build a Man'.
ReplyDeleteIt's a raining day here in Kentucky. I wish it was SNOW!! Started BAM last night and loving it!! I'm glad you had a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteHave fun with your new toy! That would make me very very very happy. I'll stop by Nas's site and say hello.
ReplyDeleteFeeling more ugg than whee due to cold. But maybe some more coffee would help. ;)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your new novel!
Three books out there, a new coffee machine, and lots of publicity. It doesn't get much better than that.
ReplyDeleteEspresso? Now that is strong coffee! I read Build A Man. Such an enjoyable read.
ReplyDeleteThis morning I am off to a pilates class.
Happy Monday.
My you've been busy!
ReplyDeleteFeeling especially sluggish today -- coming off a 4 day weekend and now it's back to the grind. Maybe coffee would help but I've never been much of a fan...
Happy Monday Talli, you've definitely got an exciting week lined up! What gets me going on Mondays? Coffee and conversation on the blogs, good times :)
ReplyDeleteWaking up to the smell of brewing coffee will wake me up out of a sound sleep any day of the week. Hmmmmmmm yum.
ReplyDeleteI love my espresso machine, I'm surprised that it hasn't broken down due to overwork.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to read Build A Man!
Oh wow!! An Expresso machine - a new one!! I am green with envy, green!!!
ReplyDeleteYay for strong heroines!! Enjoy your coffee!! I could smell it from here and it's lovely! take care
x
Glad we got in on the expresso high! Happy Week, Talli!
ReplyDeleteBlack tea with milk. Yum.
ReplyDeleteGoing over to Nas's now!
Love Mondays...first coffee, writing, blogging, social networking. Lately my Mondays have been unpredictable...but today...YAY!
ReplyDeleteMonday morning just whizzed out my window, I am now staring at an early evening sky. ;-)
ReplyDeleteHappy writing/editing this week my dear! x
ooo, I used to have an espresso machine... now I want a cappuccino! :D LOL! Have a super day. It's all grey and rainy here--good for writing! :o) <3
ReplyDeleteOoh, I wish I had an espresso machine!! With lots of yummy frothy milk to have with the coffee...
ReplyDeleteOff to visit you at Nas'!
Funny ... my espresso machine just broke. Do you think it was reincarnated as YOUR offspring?
ReplyDeleteMy husband would love an espresso machine.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with Build A Man, can't wait to read it.
A new espresso machine - lucky you Talli! Exercise gets me going on a Monday morning. The sun was shining, it was on the cold side, but I was on my bike quite early.
ReplyDeleteYay for the paperback launch of Watching Willow Watts! That's going on my wish list... I love Monday's because they are my Saturday, in essence. :)
ReplyDeleteHeading over to get your sage advice and win something awesome too :) *fingers crossed*

I have tea, but I'm thinking I'll have to switch to coffee soon. Week before finals. (ACK) :)
ReplyDeleteI had Mon off to catch up with my little (nearly a foot taller than me ;p) brother. Was fun :)
ReplyDeleteSounds like you're already really wired!

FABULOUS linkage! The to-do list gets me going. :)
ReplyDeleteI need coffee on a Monday morning! Early, often and STRONG!! :)
ReplyDeleteNow Talli that would be telling...lol seriously thinking about what I am going to do that day.
ReplyDeleteYvonne.
Mondays are tough! Almost make me wish I drank coffee... :)
ReplyDeleteMy husband had some minor outpatient surgery today, however he is working the whole patient on the couch thing in a major way. Not a lot happening here besides me being at his beck and call. I don't really mind and I did get my coffee this morning and thanks to the surgery he did not. Good luck with your paperback launch!
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of awesome linkage. :)
ReplyDeleteNew things are fun, but new espresso machines are awesome fun.
ReplyDeleteWhooo-hoooo! Coffee, coffee, coffee...that's what gets me going. Love the picture...I want that Superwoman T-shirt.
ReplyDeleteMy Monday started with me sneaking back to bed after I took my daughter to school. (hangs head in shame) When I got up I had a couple cups of pressed coffee and then took on the unpacking, cleaning, and washing from our Thanksgiving trip.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on Watching Willows paper launch. :D
I wish I could buy a new espresso machine!
ReplyDeleteWow, with all you've got going on, it's a good thing you got an espresso machine.
ReplyDeleteCoffee, coffee and coffee gets my sorted for the morning and allows me to walk upright, discover fire, there are endless possibilities :) Though an espresso machine would be awesome ...
ReplyDeleteI'm very excited for Willow's paperback launch! Enjoy your new coffee machine, and thanks for reminding me to catch up on some good reading! Julie
ReplyDeleteI had to take my cat to the vet which slowed Monday up rather a lot - chaos in the surgery!
ReplyDeleteI love my espresso machine too. Dangerous things...
ReplyDeleteOff to Nas's blog!
Oooh - I want some of that espresso! It sounds like you really need it with everything you've got going on!
ReplyDeleteWhat got me going yesterday morning was knowing that I'm less than two weeks away from the END OF THE SCHOOL YEAR! YAY!
ReplyDeleteI'm one of those terribly cheerful morning people that everyone in my family would rather not see in the mornings, especially Monday mornings. I sing. I laugh. I get up with the sun and have most of my email done by seven when they might strangle past my office door.
ReplyDeleteOf course, by six I'm a bit saggy, but it's getting dark and, in my book, it's time to sag.
Guess my answer to your question is, "The sun gets me going."
Oh wow a new espresso machine, seething with jealousy now. I love my coffee too.
ReplyDeleteWheee!! Indeed! Love it! Coffee always gets me going--no matter what day it is. :)
ReplyDeleteWell, it's Tuesday evening here and I see you're still hopped up on Espresso :) Maybe that's what I need.
ReplyDeleteWelcome Talli!
ReplyDeleteOh...bring some coffee over when you come!
I want an espresso.
