Truth Thursday

Taking a page from the wonderfully spunky Jen Daiker's blog, today will be a Truth Thursday. Also in homage to Jen, I'll be using Twitter hashtags for random things. Here we go!

I ate a whole packet of Red Twizzlers in half an hour this week. Oh yes I did. #imapigandidontevencare

I'm high on paint fumes right now. #anditfeelssogood

I hate Justin Bieber with a vengeance. #theonetimeineverbragaboutcanada

I haven't brushed my hair yet today. #thankgodforshorthair

Any truths to confess? Oh, apparently the Vatican is taking confessions via iPhone now... if you want to take it a step further!

  1. OH MY GOSH I LOVE!!! I'm the first commentor and you're sweet enough to give me props on Truth Thursdays!! AND HASHTAGS! You'd think it's my birthday. Talli you're the best.

As for the content, I'm with you on the bieber fever crap. All this hype for his ridiculous movie and biebs hair-do. Save me the drama.

All hail Talli for her awesome hashtags!!! #youdeserveanotherbagoftwizzlers

I haven't had a night off the booze this week #andIdontcare

  7. Great post, Talli. So much fun.

I hate Justin B, too. My stepdaughter is in love with him and that reminds me of the days when I was young and in love with Justin Timberlake, my family used to think I was crazy.

  8. Don't get me started on Bieber. So far my daughters have been immune to his *charms*, thank God though I think the 9 year old protesteth too much.

I don't know if you saw the commercial over there, but I saw the Kardashian sisters last night suggesting you get your girlfriends together and go see his movie. *BARF* They are in their 20's and 30's. WHY on earth would anyone over the age of say 13 want to go see his movie?

  9. Jen, glad you enjoyed it! :)

Claire, hope you had a good nap. It's a good day for napping.

Nicole - yum. Breakfast is my favourite meal of the day. Enjoy!

Len - Happy to hear your day is getting better. :)

Queenie - haha! Love it! Who needs a night off from booze anyway, right?

Angelina and Vicki - I just don't get it. Yuck.

  13. Happy Thursday to you Talli. I don't understand all this bieber hype myself and a movie on his live...isn't he only 2?

My Thursday truth...took a minute or two to figure out the hashtags. Yes I am hanging my head in embarrassment!

    ReplyDelete
  17. LOL! Love the hashtags!

    ReplyDelete
  18. I still haven't brushed my hair today.

Love your post. I like to see people admit that they're not superhuman!

    ReplyDelete
  19. I rarely brush my hair! It is wonderful.

    ReplyDelete
  20. confession- I took my kids to school in my PJ's :) I'm lazy in the morning

    ReplyDelete
  21. I'm still in bed and plan to be at least another hour. It's almost ten 0'clock!

I HATE BIEBER... Please spare us the movie. Like this kid is THE only talent in the world.

Have you heard of AMERICAN IDOL? or AMERICA/ENGLAND's GOT TALENT?

What a way to start the day?

Oh, and I haven't posted today's blog.... BAD MICHAEL!

    HE hits hand.

  22. There was a report on the radio this morning that some people in a survey had admitted to changing their bedclothes only twice a year. Eeeughh! Now I may not be a once a week woman but I'm certainly not a twice a year one!

    ReplyDelete
  23. Twizzlers are amazing. No judgements here. :)

    Great post.

    ReplyDelete
  24. In the words of Ozzy Osbourne, "What's a Bieber?" Loved that Super Bowl commercial.

I'm on my third cup of coffee and I don't think I'm blinking properly. I'm still in my sock feet and pjs and Idontevencare. I need to unload the dishwasher and clean a couple toilets, pay some bills, and I'm trying to reach my new goal of prioritizing things better. HowamIdoing?

    ReplyDelete
  25. Lol, love your list. I'm not a Bieber fan either. I'm lucky because my girls don't like him either.

Um, my truth...My house is a wreck and I'm surfing the net. #idontcare

    ReplyDelete
  26. Those are great! I'll have to remember the Justin hastag.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Love, love Twizzlers...my favorite writing snack. And spice drops. Love them too.

    ReplyDelete
  28. and it probably looks FABULOUS! Grrr. I wish I could cut my hair short but by some freak of mixed genetics, I managed to get both my mother's straight hair with the hair at my temles going curly like my dads. It's odd to say the least. When it's humid out I look kind of like an orthodox jew. I tried cutting the hair short their once and they sprung up in the air shaped like pull horns. so not fair.

    ReplyDelete
  29. LOL! No worries, Twizzlers are fat free. Though that is a lot of sugar... My confession, I haven't shaved my legs in two weeks. Being blond has its advantages!

    ReplyDelete
  30. Twizzlers are fat free so that helps!

And I hate Justin Bieber too.

    ReplyDelete
  31. *snort* Oh nice... You were aware Justin Bieber is following me on Twitter, yes? But i didn't ask for it...

I drink far more rum than I ought to #thingsthatyoualreadyguessed

    ReplyDelete
  32. My confession is - it's so cold in Toronto that my brain has frozen. What a good excuse not to work, huh? And I can put off doing something about my coffee addiction.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Seriously? I-phone confessionals? :) My daughter actually loves "The Biebs" :p. She gets mad when I call him "Justina". And yay for twizzlers! I might have you beat there, though. I can down a pack in about 23 minutes.... have a happy Thursday!

    ReplyDelete
  34. I'm still in my pj's and procrastinating.

I had no opinion on Justin Bieber, but I saw him on Ellen yesterday and another tabloid show, and he seems like a decent person.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Mmmm. I love licorice. I guess you won't be going to see the Bieberific film in IMAX this friday. :) Me neither. Your hate of him could be future inspiraton for you.

Claire's comment makes me want a nap.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I can eat a whole packet of marshmallows in one sitting - how's that for a confession? Plus, I'm a slut...how'm I doing?

    ReplyDelete
  37. Confession by iPhone. Would that be #forgiveme?

    ReplyDelete
  38. What's a Bieber? #reasonsimsogladiliveinmexico

  41. LOL. I love this post!

I so agree with the Justin Bieber thing. *shudder*

    ReplyDelete
  42. You don't love the Bieber?!

Okay. Just lost my senses there for a minute. Justin Bieber has got to be one of the most annoying 'pop stars' ever. I still have nightmares about his x-factor appearance.

    ReplyDelete
  43. My confession? I'm kind of okay with the Bieber. I'm not a fan or anything, but I'll let him do his thing.

    ReplyDelete

  49. So will the Vatican respond with a virtual " to do list" of Hail Mary's?

My tween daughter has talked about nothing BUT Justin Weiner ever since she found out about his movie. I'm going to have to take her. I will feel dirty afterwards. The Vatican app may come in handy.

    ReplyDelete
  50. I don't get it. Of course that doesn't mean much--there's a lot of things I don't get.
Guess I should Google "hashtag" and get all the lowdown on Twitter.

  52. Is that true about the vatican?? Wow, technology has taken us places I'd thought we'd never go! Bieber is a bit of annoying, but, my truth, I think I would have rathered seen him than Black Eyed Peas at the Superbowl! I guess he can be quite the 'show boy.'

    ReplyDelete
  53. The truth is...the person who murdered Grayson Wilbourne is........(as if). :P

    ReplyDelete
  54. LOL! I love your truths. I once planned on eating a whole packet of biscuits without even looking at them as I ate (while revising at Uni), but when I was about to put one of them into my mouth something told me to look at it and when I did there was a piece of string mangled up inside it!! :O)

    ReplyDelete
  55. HaHa! The Vatican is taking digital confessions? That's fantastic! I love it :)

Here's my boring secret from Thursday:

The doc tells me not to have caffeine, but I can't live without my venti soy chai latte. #cheatingthesystem

    ReplyDelete
  56. Like I said on Jen's post, I don't use hashtags. Don't really know what they are. I'm social media challenged.
    : (

    ReplyDelete
  57. They are excellent confessions. I am lazy on Sundays and I am trying to catch up on blogs. I don't write everyday like I should and I don't listen to my muse all the time.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Haha! I love truth Thursdays! I may have to do some posts like this on my blog, it certainly brought a smile to my face:)
