Hello, all! Hope everyone had a great weekend.
Lately I don't seem to be doing much writing (wonder why?), but I have been doing a lot of walking! It's a great way to get out of the flat, and Lobster Baby seems to fade away, leaving a lovely sleeping cherub.
I'm very lucky that I live smack dab between two iconic London parks, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens. While I usually head to the Gardens, today I decided to opt for the less-touristic Holland Park. It's much more manicured than Kensington Gardens, and also features a mini-woodland.

Gorgeous, eh? By the way, thank you all for sharing your worst date stories last week! I share in your pain. :)
Have a great week, everyone!
I'd go walking in a park like that every day! And yes, very informative captions with each photo.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely place to go for a walk with baby, you are lucky.
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful park! Ooo, how I want to see London so much!!
ReplyDeleteI can see why he's no longer Lobster Baby after a walk there. That would make me happy, too!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! But I have to tell you any time I see peacocks I get weird. They're beautiful, true, but there was a flock that lived right up the hill from us. We had to deal with their loud yells and poop on our roof. Did I tell you I can scream like one?
ReplyDeleteLovely photos! Before you know it LB will be toddling along at your side as you walk through the park.
ReplyDeleteHi Talli .. I don't think I've ever been in Holland Park - need to make a sojourn one day ... is the Commonwealth Institute refurbished yet?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful days for being out and about - but time to stay in cuddled up later this week ... so glad all is going along happily and the brain is recovering from lobster shock!!
Cheers Hilary
Oh, how beautiful! Anyone would be less "lobster-y" walking through gardens like these!
ReplyDeleteThat'll be why the baby weight has fallen off you! I walked loads the first few months after the Spudling was born - it helped keep me sane. Well....awake anyway! Unfortunately it's a lot less picturesque in this part of Bristol!
ReplyDeleteThat`s a lovely spot, Talli. Thanks for sharing the pics!
ReplyDeleteLooks lovely! A perfect place for a walk - glad baby TR likes the walks too :)
ReplyDeleteAwwwwww! Nothing like nature to bring the best out of your beautiful lobster cherubic baby!!!
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a great weekend too!!!
Take care
x
A lovely park and walking baby TR there is very virtuous. I took mine to TKMAXX today - not as picturesque but he did fall asleep!
ReplyDeleteI can totally see why you're not writing. Usually it's atrocious weather in London in the early parts of the year but looks like you're going to have a wonderful Spring!
ReplyDeleteGreat photo of the heron! (At least the caption doesn't say "some bird on a rail!) :-)
ReplyDeleteThis is London in February??? I mean, I know you're more temperate but honestly? Of course your baby lobster is really an angelic cherub!
ReplyDeleteThe park looks marvelous. What a nice little walk.
ReplyDeleteOh wow! Absolutely BEAUTIFUL! I wish I had somewhere like that to walk! Lucky you!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the walk in the park Talli. I've walked Kensington Gardens but not this one. Looks like it's one to visit.
ReplyDeleteLooks lovely :) In my travels to London I've never ventured to Kensington Gardens. I'll have to pay a visit next time I'm about.

Lovely photos! I think I'll have to visit Holland Park next time I'm in London!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos Talli. Looks like great weather as well, so better to make the most of it while it is around.
ReplyDeleteHerons in London? Who knew. Lovely photos. And walking is the best elixir.
ReplyDeleteLOVE those parks & gardens. I remember when Cat was a baby, she always loved going out for walks. Enjoy this time~ :o) <3
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! I wish we had more 'manicured' parks where I live, but I also love the mess of wildness that is the pacific northwest. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, those pictures look beautiful, and I'm totally jealous that you get to walk in those parks whenever you want! Walking can be very therapeutic; I think I read somewhere that it gives you a chance to slow down and think about things.
ReplyDeleteYes, Talli! The captions are informative and you had me laughing! You have fun energy here always!
ReplyDeleteI want to read your books. Is it available in India. Where can I get your books?
ReplyDeleteYou've been having lovely weather - that heron is gorgeous. Glad you are having some peaceful time out and about!
ReplyDeleteI miss all the walking I did in the UK. It is super steep where I live so not a great neighborhood for walking. I enjoy hiking in the countryside, but would love to be able to more easily walk the neighborhood.
ReplyDeleteBabies are a sweet season so just enjoy!
Looks so beautiful. Glad you're able to get out and get some fresh air!
ReplyDeleteAww! What a pretty park! I live next door to a park, but it's just a giant field with a pond. And a stupid baseball diamond. Good for flying kites, i guess
ReplyDeleteI do not even understand how I ended up here, however
ReplyDeleteI believed this submit was great. I don't understand who you're
but certainly you're going to a well-known blogger in case you are not already. Cheers!
