Kitties With Thumbs

You know how experts say to keep your blog focused and relevant?

Yeah, well, fair warning: this blog post has nothing to do with writing or reading or... anything other than cats with thumbs. I suppose it is slightly connected to my novels, though, since one of them does have a cat. It doesn't have opposable thumbs, though.

    I remember seeing this commercial in some show about "funniest commercials" and my kids were in tears they were laughing so hard. :)

    lol! Let me tell you, mine can open doors and one who picks up small balls--in both paws--and tosses it. They all sing, too, well sorta, when I bring out the milk carton.

    JOGON, KITTIES.

    Actually, some cats DO have thumbs, they're called polydactyl. (They're also called Hemingway Cats because Hemingway had several, I suppose.) Not opposable, though, sadly. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polydactyl_cat

    AHAH! I've seen that video before but it makes me laugh every single time. So, so cute (and a little scary). Ditto what some of the other commenters said - please write a book about cats with thumbs. Maybe a cat matchmaker who brings together two clueless humans with its thumbs.
