You know how experts say to keep your blog focused and relevant?
Yeah, well, fair warning: this blog post has nothing to do with writing or reading or... anything other than cats with thumbs. I suppose it is slightly connected to my novels, though, since one of them does have a cat. It doesn't have opposable thumbs, though.
Enjoy.

And if you are looking for something a bit more reading related, might I suggest Naina Gupta's fun novel, The Bollywood Break-Up Agency? Very entertaining, and on for a great price on both Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.com.
See, I did manage to get something reading-writing-related in there. Happy Monday!
Good advert! :D
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen it for a while though.
Cute commercial! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! Maybe you should write a book about cats with thumbs.
ReplyDeleteI love it! Not seen that ad before. And your blog is focused and relevant! The title of this post perfectly explains what I'm expecting to see. :)
ReplyDeleteCats rule. That commercial gets two-paws up from me.
ReplyDeleteBahaha! I love you. Have you seen the "I love cats" video on YouTube??? It is a MUST.
ReplyDeleteI remember seeing this commercial in some show about "funniest commercials" and my kids were in tears they were laughing so hard. :)
ReplyDeleteThat was so cute! I love cats.
ReplyDeleteHah!! Cats Rule!!
ReplyDelete:-)
Take care
x
lol! Let me tell you, mine can open doors and one who picks up small balls--in both paws--and tosses it. They all sing, too, well sorta, when I bring out the milk carton.
ReplyDeleteSia McKye OVER COFFEE
Love the video!
ReplyDeletePurrrrrrrr :)
I love cat adverts. They are so aloof aren't they, so arrogant! But I love 'em, lol.
ReplyDeleteCJ x
lol cute!
ReplyDeleteThat commercial kind of freaks me out. :)
ReplyDeleteExcellent! Cats are clever enough without opposable thumbs!
ReplyDeleteCan I just tell you how incredibly entertaining I found this? What does that say about me?
ReplyDeleteHeh!
ReplyDeleteLove me some cats - especially cats with thumbs. It's only a matter of time before they take over the world
JOGON, KITTIES.
ReplyDeleteActually, some cats DO have thumbs, they're called polydactyl. (They're also called Hemingway Cats because Hemingway had several, I suppose.) Not opposable, though, sadly. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polydactyl_cat
Your novel has a cat in it so I think this post totally counts!
ReplyDeleteyou are so flippin hilarious. What is it about cat videos that are so funny? the girls and I can watch them for hours. :D
ReplyDeleteHa ha! Thanks for posting this, Talli. Brilliant!
ReplyDeleteBahaha! That's awesome.
ReplyDeleteHahaha! Cute!
ReplyDeleteI'm terrified. Thanks so much, Talli, now I'll have nightmares about my cats getting into thumbcat gangs, and terrorizing my kitchen. No pie will be safe.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant!
ReplyDeleteI LOVED this advert. I am known to make the 'discovery meow' sound myself. Anything for amusement.
ReplyDeleteOMG, that was hilarious. I can't even imagine my Evil!Kitty having thumbs. I'm sure he'd murder me in my sleep.
ReplyDeleteThat was funny! There goes his milk.
ReplyDeletethat made me giggle - thanks Talli!
ReplyDeleteNaina's book's next on my TBR pile - can't wait!
Lxxx
Oh no. My iPads acting up and I can't see the ad. I'll try later though. I realized just before I read your blog that I'm getting tired of just reading book blogs and need morebthat are fresh and your Tallinn is just that. I never know how you gonna do it but you always entertain me. Props.
ReplyDeleteHa. Oh, I love this. :)
ReplyDeleteomg is that a real commercial?? LOL.
ReplyDelete"Gangs of cats"
ReplyDeleteThat's a hoot!
I haven't seen that advert before - cute and funny, perfect!
ReplyDeleteAnd experts say a blog is meant to have a theme, um, how about a nice pretty theme rather than a topic - does that count? lol
funny.
ReplyDeleteLOL! This is hilarious!
ReplyDeleteLOL. That's a funny commercial!
ReplyDeleteHah! Oh, I needed this today. Thanks for sharing, Talli! :)
ReplyDeleteBlah, blah...focused and relevant. I say keep it interesting and fun! Loved it. Happy Monday...well, almost Tuesday now!
ReplyDeleteHilarious!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, its okay to break the rules now and again. We're allowed to have other interests, like cake, and handbags, and stuff!
Great! I'm going to have to post this on Facebook!
ReplyDeleteLOL!!! I loved it! Thanks, Talli :)
ReplyDeleteF-ing hilarious! OMG.
ReplyDeleteCute cat and good commercial! Checking out your llink for Bollywood Breakup Agency.
ReplyDeleteThis video cracked me up; thanks for posting it! I especially liked the part where they're snapping their...um...paws. It also speaks to my slightly irrational fear that cats are out to get us.
ReplyDeleteI adore this advert. Tim Curry's voice over is brilliant too. I find that Cravendale usually make some of the better adverts these days.
ReplyDeleteYou make everything entertaining Talli! Cute cats, but your original story about the squirrels was the best! Julie
ReplyDeleteLove the cat ad - have never seen the whole thing and now the end bit we see on TV makes far more sense!
ReplyDeleteSometimes posts should be about something irrelevant, just so we can smile. Funny avert!
ReplyDelete"Gangs of cats with thumbs" - I love it! How cute - thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteoh, that was hilarious! Thanks for the kitty chuckle this morning. :)
ReplyDeleteAHAH! I've seen that video before but it makes me laugh every single time. So, so cute (and a little scary). Ditto what some of the other commenters said - please write a book about cats with thumbs. Maybe a cat matchmaker who brings together two clueless humans with its thumbs.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant!
ReplyDeleteThe cat rules in our house for sure. xx
Oh, that's brilliant! I love the one reading the book on military strategy!
ReplyDeleteMy blog is focused on the random : ) I don't think that's what they mean but it works for me.
ReplyDeleteCats are always relevant.
ReplyDeleteThat was super! More cats on the internet make it a better place to visit. :)
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I can imagine all the trouble Abbie would get into if she had thumbs! :)
ReplyDeleteHa, oh wow! That was great. Thanks for sharing. :D Makes even cats seem ominous, eh?
ReplyDeleteHA! Now that was funny! If cats had thumbs and prehensile tails, we might be a little lower on the food chain.
