Two of my novels, Build A Man and Watching Willow Watts, have been long-listed for Trashionista's book of the year. It would be fab if you could pop over and vote! No registration or anything needed - just click the book and hit the button. Thank you, thank you. Virtual rum and eggnog for all!
Have a great week!

Such a beautiful tree. I'm heading over to vote right now. :-)
ReplyDeleteOh, happy memories!! We used to go chop down our tree the old-fashioned way too! Not sure there are any places where we can do that where we live now, though. It's so fun to choose your own, and saw it yourself. :) And congrats on your book news! (YUM, eggnog!)
ReplyDeleteWow! I've never gone into the woods to get a xmas tree. We've always used the same plastic tree every year. ONe of these days, I definitely have to try using an actual tree. :)
ReplyDeleteHave the Happiest of Holidays!

What a lovely tree, looks like you had fun with that saw!
ReplyDeleteHappy Christmas!
Our family used to go out into the woods to find our tree, then we went artificial after one of our tree's almost burnt down. :)
ReplyDeleteOn my way to vote right now!
I've voted! Plus, where was this? There is snow on the ground... can't be the UK. Have you gone "home"? Have I missed a post? Sorry if I have.

It's been years since I had a real tree. I miss the yummy pine smell!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas to you -- I just bought Build A Man!
I've heard people say they do this, but have never done it myself. It looks like a lot of fun. Merry Christmas, Talli! And congrats on your book - you deserve it after all your hard work. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful looking tree. Enjoy decorating it.
ReplyDeleteLooks like getting a Christmas tree was quite an expedition for you guys! In our house, we just took the tree out of the box to find that last year's decorations were still on it! Kinda took the fun out of decorating it!
